How to make candy nails!

Erased the exclamation mark and made the.. uh, twinkly thing from Ace Attorney’s logo instead.
Still not iconic enough, but it looks better I think..?
It’s supposed to be Phoenix Wright inspired nail art, but I ran out of ideas on what to make on my other nails.
I really want to make the “OBJECTION!” icon but I know it won’t fit my tiny nails so I just draw the exclamation mark. It looks really forced, isn’t it? OTL
The suit is based on Phoenix’s suit from the Ace Attorney 5.
Experimenting with sponge and dotting tools.
So I sponged darker blue on the tip of my nails over lighter blue base color. And then I make some dots with darker blue on the lighter part, mix the it with a bit of white, make some more dots below the darker dots, mix with more white and so on until I filled up my nail with dot gradient.
By the time I got the sides of my nails cleaned up it’s already dark so I can’t get a decent picture.
Well, this one has everything: gradients, rainbows, taping and matte. For all the polishes and how it all came together, check the post :D
Recently my roommate got me into Kyary Pamyu Pamyu. So I made this nail art inspired by Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s Furisodation video.
I’m sure it’ll look better if I use fimo slice for the apple, but I was too lazy to find my fimo slices. And if I could make some kind of 3D red bow (acrylic? gel? real ribbon?) I would put it on my thumb.
Yeah, I can make fuse beads bow, but it’ll be either too big to put on my nail or too small it won’t be recognizable as a bow.
Reblogging for that dusted look trick. I probably won’t be able to try this since I don’t have any matte top coats.

Brick wall nail art. It’s fun to make, pretty easy to make and I think it works great even on short nails.
Sadly I couldn’t find my good nail art brush so I used the crappy one.. -_-
How to make it:
- Apply base coat.
- Cover your nails with orange/red nail polish.
- Gently pat red/reddish brown nail polish on your nails with a sponge. Just a thin layer will do, and you don’t have to make it neat either.
- Paut some dark red/brown/light orange/light brown on some parts of your nails with sponge.
- Paint the lines with light brown/nude color using small nail art brush.
- Apply top coat.
- Clean up the sides of your nails if necessary.
Ran out of base coat just when I got a nail art inspiration. OTL
